GD2 Advanced Assignment: Logo and Identity Package

This assignment is for Graphic Design 2 students only.

Your first advanced assignment is to create a refined and well designed logo for personal use and then an identity package to accompany it.

GD2 Logo and Identity Package Assignment Details:


Logo:

• Use pencil and paper to explore logo designs, think of things that inspire you and identify you. Your logo should convey your own personal style as well be readable
• Create 10 or more pencil sketches to explore different designs
• Choose one design and render in pencil in full detail
• Scan artwork and render in Illustrator, consider color usage, scale etc...
• A good logo should be memorable, identifiable and readable when small or large

Identity Package:

• When logo is complete, create an identity package that expands on your logo design style and color usage
• Create a business card, letterhead and envelope design, use Indesign for creation

Present your pencil sketches, logo and ID package designs on your blog when complete. Due on Wednesday the 22nd.
